Roadway Ready is currently operating on a Covid-Safe basis. You can read more about Contact-free moves below. We are taking the potential threat of the COVID-19 virus very seriously. As a business providing in-home and office services in our community, we are taking action throughout our businessto limit the risk of the spread of the virus and remain a trusted moving partner. We trust you will support us in these efforts and we appreciate your understanding during this time.
Here are the actions we have in place as standard across our organisation.
Every staff member has their temperature checked before starting a shift. No staff member presenting any cold- or flu-like symptom will be permitted on our business property or move sites. All staff have been briefed on proper procedures to follow in the event of feeling unwell.
All staff have been supplied with protective gloves and face masks that they are using for every shift. All trucks have hand-sanitizer and disinfectant spray onboard. This will be used by drivers and on all moving equipment before every move. Our staff have also been educated on hygienic measures for personal knowledge outside of working hours to minimise risk.
All meetings, training sessions and staff gatherings have been cancelled until further notice. Social distancing policies apply onsite and staff have been encouraged to socially distance from one another outside of work for near future.
Due to restrictions now in place, Roadway Ready will be operating as a Contact-free service. Regarding house and/or office moves, we ask you to remain clear of our areas of work when reasonably possible during the move. If you need to enter your place during the move, our staff can remain outside until you are clear of the area. This way we can eliminate the risk of person-to-person contact while still completing your move as efficiently as possible.
In line with government directives please wear a face mask or other protective face covering during our time with you. Our staff will be wearing masks during any interaction with you. But please note, these same directives also permit our staff to remove their face masks during the move as the physical nature of the job can, at times, make it impossible to do their work safely.
If you or anyone in your house exhibit any cold- or flu-like symptoms or have recently returned from overseas, we ask you to remove yourself from the worksite altogether before we begin work, just to be safe. In the interests of public health.
We thank you for your help during this time and look forward to working with you!
